The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges July 19, 2013 on Rodney N. Mathes, 46 years of age, of the 3800 block of Treebrook Drive, Imperial, Missouri 63052 for Burglary Second Degree and Felony Stealing. A $30,000 cash only bond was set. A photo of Mathes is attached.

Charges were issued after officers from the St. Louis County Police Department City of Fenton Precinct responded to the Fenton Pawn Shop located at 400 Gravois Road on Thursday morning July 11, 2013 for a business burglary. Mathes forced entry through the front glass door by use of a hammer. He then proceeded to smash two display cases and steal approximately $15,000.00 in gold jewelry. Mathes turned himself in to the St. Louis County Police Department on Thursday, July 18, 2013.
