St. Louis County Police Fenton and West County Precincts to Co-Host Citizen Police Academy

The St. Louis County Police Department, City of Fenton Precinct and West County Precinct will co-host a Citizen Police Academy at the Rockwood Bank Meeting Room at 1037 Majestic Drive, Fenton, Missouri 63026. The classes will be held on eight consecutive Thursdays, beginning on March 4, 2010, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with graduation on April 22, 2010.

Chief of Police Timothy Fitch stated, "The Citizens Police Academy creates the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the officers who serve and protect your community. Participants learn about what steps they can take to avoid becoming the victim of a crime and they get an inside look at how the County Police Department operates. Classes are instructed by law enforcement professionals in various fields."

The Citizens Police Academy is open to all St. Louis County residents and is free of charge. Advanced registration is required and seating is limited.
