Mad Science for Preschoolers

Mad Science brings their fun and educational programs to the St. Louis Carousel for 8 weeks. These programs are designed for children ages 3-5yrs old and are approximately 30-45 minutes in length. The children perform experiments, participate in demonstrations and have a take home item at the end of the program. Child and adult also get a ride on the carousel after the program. Preschool Arts & Crafts Camp
Tuesday & Wednesday, July 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28
10:30am – 11:00am
Four weeks of fun arts & craft projects for preschoolers. Each day will feature a different craft project. Parents must stay and assist their child with the project.
Ages 3-5yrs.

Petite Poms
August 9 – 13, 2010
9am-10:00am
$60/child - Ages 3-5yrs.
Kids enjoy sing along songs, spirit games, simple pom-pom routines and cheers. The final day includes a performance for family and friends.

Yoga Basics
September 14 – October 19
9am – 10am
$60 for six week program – Ages 18 and up
Improve strength, flexibility and balance. Learn yoga breathing and poses to bring a total sense of well being and integration of mind and body. Bring a yoga mat, Mexican or wool style blanket, foam yoga block and strap. Arrive to class 10 minutes early on an empty stomach. Advanced registration is required. Fun Friday Puppet Shows at the Carousel
Fridays October 1 – November 19, 2010
Doors open at 9:30am
Puppet Show 10am – 10:30am
Children and parents will enjoy entertaining puppet shows and a complimentary twirl on the Carousel after the show. Shows are every Friday beginning October 1 thru November 19. Tickets go on sale August 1, 2010.

Preschool Pumpkins

Dress up in your Halloween costume (optional) and decorate mini pumpkins to take home. Parents must stay and assist their child with the project.

Trick or Treats at the St. Louis Carousel

All visitors in their Halloween costumes receive candy after their carousel ride. All rides are $1/person/ride.

Candy Cane Hunt at the Carousel

10am sharp!
Candy canes have been hidden in Faust Park by the Carousel Reindeer for children to find. Some candy canes will have special prizes attached! Pre registration is required. Candy Cane Hunt begins promptly at 10am. Tickets go on sale October 1. Tickets must be purchased in person at the St. Louis Carousel Gift Shop. $5.00 per person ages 2-10

Holiday Wreath Making
Thursday, December 9, 2010
6pm-8pm
$25/person (includes wreath frame, wire and greenery)
Make your own holiday wreath to hang on your front door! All supplies will be provided to make an evergreen wreath. You will need to bring your own bows and decorations to adorn your creation. Holiday music and snack of cookies and coffee will be provided as you create your wreath. Advanced registration is required. Call 314-615-8343 to register.

Winter Break Puppet Shows
