How to obtain a Birth or Death Certificate
Please Note: The Office of Vital Records will be closed on Monday, February 15th, in observance of the President's Day Holiday.

Saint Louis County Office of Vital Records can issue certified copies of birth and death certificates for the entire state of Missouri. The years available for birth certificates are 1920 to the present. The years available for death certificates are 1883 to the present; however deaths that occurred prior to 1980 must have occurred in St. Louis County. Looking for marriage licenses?
