OCTOBER 27 - Fall Landscaping/Clean-up in Castle Point Subdivision - North Unincorporated St. Louis County

St. Louis County and St. Louis University student joined forces to clean-up vacant properties and spread mulch

  • 28 volunteers;
  • 9 properties cleared and clean-up

OCTOBER 27 E-Recycling with 344 homes in former St. Geroge - South Unincorporated St. Louis County

St. Louis County and RNA Worldwide partnered to hold a drop-off event for electronics and metal items.

Here are the statistics from the day's event: 
  • approximately 46vehicles came to the drop off site with items
  • St. Louis County employees and volunteers assisted 8 residents in bringing their items to the drop-off site 
  • collected 11,600 lbs. of recyclable material

OCTOBER 24 - Lemay Community Service Projects


Hancock High School Seniors and St. Louis County partnered to make the Lemay neighborhoods cleaner, greener and more beautiful.

  • 105 volunteers

  • 23 properties including debris and brush removal

OCTOBER 20- Fall Landscaping & Roadside Litter Pick-up - Gravois & Heege and Gravois Road - Unincorporated South County Affton area

Affton High School students and St. Louis County employees spent their Saturday picking up litter, landscaping the sidewalk containers and the center median at Gravois & Heege.

OCTOBER 20 - Fall Landscaping - Spanish Lake Triangle @ Trampe & Larimore

Spanish Lake Community Association, St. Louis County, and volunteers from the neighborhood joined in mulching and weeding this garden.

OCTOBER 6 - E-Recycling with 904 homes in Pleasant Hollow subdivision - North Unincorporated St. Louis County

Pleasant Hollow Trustees, St. Louis County and RNA Worldwide partnered to hold a drop-off event for electronics and metal items.

Here are the statistics from the day's event: 

  • approximately 100 vehicles came to the drop off site with items
  • St. Louis County employee and volunteers assisted 15 residents in bringing their items to the drop-off site 
  • collected 20,870 lbs. of recyclable material!!!!
