Charges Issued on 17-Year Old Man for Robbery of South County Gas Station

On Saturday, July 12, 2014, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued charges on Daniel McSkimming, 17 years of age, of the 9000 block of Middlewood, St. Louis, Missouri, 63127, for one count of Attempted Robbery First Degree. McSkimming is currently being held on a $20,000 cash only bond. A Photo of McSkimming is attached.

On Thursday, July 10, 2014, officers from the St. Louis County Police Department Affton Southwest Precinct responded to the BP gas station located at 11940 Tesson Ferry for a report of an armed robbery. The suspect entered the gas station, pointed a handgun at the clerk, and demanded money before fleeing the scene. The suspect was captured by video surveillance and subsequently identified.

An investigation by detectives from the St. Louis County Police Bureau of Crimes Against Persons led to McSkimming’s arrest on Friday, July 11, 2014.
