Ex-School Teacher Charged with Rape and Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree

On Monday, July 30, 2012, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued warrants on Donald Ingerson, 67 years of age, of the 100 block of East Harvey, Ely, Minnesota, 55731, for one count of Rape and one count of Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree. Ingerson is currently being held on a $300,000 cash only bond. A photo of Ingerson is attached and can be viewed online.

An investigation by the St. Louis County Police Bureau of Crimes Against Persons revealed that Ingerson was a school teacher in the St. Louis area at various schools in the 1960's through the 1990's before moving to Minnesota. He was arrested on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Police Headquarters.

St. Louis County Police Detectives have been able to identify two victims and are asking that if anyone believes they may have been a victim of a sexual crime by Donald Ingerson or anyone else to call 314-889-2341.
