The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued warrants on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 on William Gunter, 59 years of age, of the 1500 block of Mason Hill Ct., Town and Country, Missouri 63131 for the charge of First Degree Murder. No Bond was issued on this case. A photo of Gunter is attached.
The charges were issued after Town and County Police Officers responded to an accidental injury to the 1500 block of Mason Hill Ct around 3 P.M. on Monday, March 18. Officers responded to the scene and found the 55 year old victim severely injured and she was transported to Mercy Hospital where she expired. Autopsy results indicated that the victim’s trauma was not consistent with the report given to officers at the scene and classified the manner of death as a homicide.
Town and County Police Department turned the homicide investigation over on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 to the St. Louis County Police Department’s Division of Criminal Investigation Crimes Against Person’s Unit, which led to the arrest of Gunter and the above charges being issued.
