Overland Man Charged With Murder in City of Breckenridge Hills

On Monday, January 30, 2012, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued warrants on Darrion D. Landrum, 23 years of age, of the 9000 block of Sherland Avenue, Overland, Missouri, 63114, for one count of Murder in the Second Degree, one count of Assault in the First Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action. Landrum is currently being held on a $500,000 bond. A photo of Landrum is attached and can be viewed online.

On Friday, October 28, 2011, at approximately 10:00 PM, St. Louis County Police responded to a call for a shooting at the Quick Shop parking lot on the 3000 block of Woodson Road in the City of Breckenridge Hills. St. Louis County Police discovered that two victims were shot with one of the victims deceased. St. Louis County Police Detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons responded to conduct the investigation.

The deceased victim was identified as Jay Pearson, 23 years of age. The other victim was transported to an area hospital and survived. This victim is identified as Kelvin Jackson 25 years of age. Landrum, Pearson and Jackson were all known to each other before the incident. Apparently, a verbal altercation lead to a physical altercation and then to Landrum shooting both victims.
