Re-Occupancy Applications
Re-occupancy permitting is a minimum standard of safety and health inspection conducted on all properties in unincorporated St. Louis County at the time of change of occupants. This inspection must be applied for at every change of occupancy. This ordinance was put into effect in October 2005 for rental units and July 2007 for sale homes.
The only forms of payment accepted online are debit, credit and trust (escrow) accounts.
Charges:
Single family: $80.00
Condo: $80.00
Duplex (2 units in building): $80.00 per unit
Apartments (3 or more units in one building): $40.00 per unit
First time home buyers going through a program (Beyond Housing, Better Family Life, etc) MUST apply in person at either office. $95.35 charge which includes visual lead Inspection.
Re-occupancy permits are currently issued on this website only for Unincorporated St. Louis County.
