The enforcement division of the Solid Waste Management Program works to ensure compliance by haulers, residents, and commercial entities with the existing waste code.

The Saint Louis County Department of Health has recently mailed out Warning Letters, Notices of Violation, and Citations to residents and owners of residences in the newly established county trash districts. These were prompted by notifications of cancelled trash service provided to Saint Louis County by the authorized haulers for each district as required by their contracts.

The links below provide a list of Frequently Asked Questions related to the mailings as well as a Response Form that may be used to submit information to staff in the Solid Waste Management Program.

If you have recently reinstated trash service with the authorized district hauler then no further action is required on your part and you can disregard the mailings.
