County Executive Dooley Signs Order on Minority, Women Inclusion


The order includes the original language contained in legislative bills #109, #110, and #111 introduced by 1st District County Councilman Hazel Erby. The Order also officially establishes the Office of Diversity Programs referred to in Erby’s original bill #109 and sets out the duties and responsibilities of the Diversity Programs Administrator.

County Executive Dooley applauds new Girls Inc facility as an asset in St. Louis County extended education


Cheryl Jones, executive director of the local chapter of Girls Inc., said the renovation was largely funded through federal grant money, Missouri’s Neighborhood Assistance Program, the St. Louis County Port Authority and private donations; and thanked County Executive Charlie A. Dooley for supporting the renovation.

The county-wide system, which is available for loan, uses a marker creating invisible marks that can only be seen under ultraviolet fluorescent lighting.

County Health Department Urges Precautions to Stop the Spread of Shigella


The Saint Louis County Department of Health has received 71 case reports of shigellosis in the area since the start of the year.  During this same time period in 2013, only two such cases were reported.
